Noctune
Designed the brand identity and landing experience for Noctune, creating a cohesive, immersive music platform focused on engagement and free-trial conversion.
Year :
2024
Industry :
Music Streaming / Entertainment
Client :
Personal Project
Project Duration :
3–4 Weeks

Problem :
The primary challenge was to create a strong brand identity for Noctune that reflects a premium, immersive music experience while also designing a landing page that drives user engagement and free-trial conversions. As a new platform, it lacked both visual identity and a clear digital presence.
Another key difficulty was ensuring consistency between branding and product experience. The interface needed to feel cohesive—from logo to UI—while balancing rich visuals with usability. Structuring multiple content sections such as tracks, genres, and artists without overwhelming users, while maintaining a smooth and engaging flow, was also a critical consideration.

🔹 SOLUTION :
I designed a cohesive brand and product experience by developing a modern logo system and a dark-themed landing page that reflects the immersive nature of music streaming. The visual identity was built around a sleek, minimal logo combined with a bold dark UI palette to evoke a premium and distraction-free listening environment.
Key features implemented:
Custom logo reflecting music + modern tech identity
High-impact hero with clear free-trial CTA
Trending tracks and music discovery sections
Genre-based browsing experience
Artist spotlight and featured content
Email capture for retention
Fully responsive dark UI system
🔹 RESEARCH & DISCOVERY :
To align the brand and product experience, I conducted focused research.
Key activities:
• Competitor analysis (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
• Visual mood exploration
• Brand positioning study
• Landing page behavior analysis
Key insights:
• Users associate dark UI with music immersion
• Strong branding improves recall and trust
• First impression heavily impacts trial conversion
• Structured discovery improves engagement

🔹 UX STRATEGY :
Based on insights, I focused on:
Creating a strong first impression
Building emotional engagement through visuals
Supporting seamless music discovery
Driving free-trial conversions
Maintaining brand consistency across UI
🔹 INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE :
The landing experience was structured into:
Hero & Value Proposition
Trending Tracks
Genre Exploration
Trending Artists
Featured Artist
Email Capture
Footer
🔹 PRIMARY USER FLOW :
Landing → Explore Music → Discover Artists → Engage → Start Free Trial
Key design decisions:
Strong above-the-fold CTA
Card-based content layout
Smooth visual flow between sections
Clear hierarchy for quick scanning
Mobile-first interaction design
🔹 WIREFRAMING :
Wireframes were created to define layout structure, content flow, and CTA placement.
Focus areas:
Hero impact
Section transitions
Content grouping
Mobile responsiveness

🔹 CHALLENGE :
The primary challenge was creating a cohesive brand and product experience that feels immersive while maintaining usability and clarity. The design needed to balance strong visual identity with functional navigation to support both engagement and conversion.
Another key difficulty was structuring multiple discovery sections—tracks, genres, and artists—without overwhelming users. Maintaining visual consistency between branding and UI, while ensuring smooth responsiveness and performance across devices, was also a critical consideration.
🔹 SUMMARY :
The "Pantone Very Peri Poster Design" project is a contemporary exploration of color, form, and simplicity. By combining a soft periwinkle background, clean typography, and a delicate blue branch illustration, the poster celebrates Pantone’s Color of the Year 2022 in a fresh and minimalist way.
This design exemplifies how thoughtful restraint and attention to detail can create a modern visual statement that is both memorable and versatile.
