🔹 PROBLEM STATEMENT :

The primary challenge was to redesign an existing airline website that lacked clear structure, intuitive navigation, and a smooth booking experience. The original interface had issues with content hierarchy, making it difficult for users to quickly search flights, explore offers, and access key information.

Another key difficulty was improving usability without losing brand identity. The design needed to simplify the booking flow, enhance visual clarity, and create a seamless experience across both desktop and mobile devices. Ensuring consistency in typography, spacing, and layout while restructuring the entire experience was also a critical consideration.

🔹 SOLUTION :

I redesigned the Flybig website with a focus on improving usability, clarity, and booking efficiency. The new design introduces a cleaner layout, better visual hierarchy, and a structured flight search experience to help users quickly find and book flights. The experience was optimized for both desktop and mobile, ensuring smooth navigation and consistent interaction patterns across devices.

Key improvements implemented:

  • Simplified and structured flight booking flow

  • Improved hero section with clear search functionality

  • Better content hierarchy and spacing

  • Organized offers and recommendations section

  • Clear service highlights (USP sections)

  • Mobile-optimized responsive design

  • Improved typography and color consistency

🔹 RESEARCH & DISCOVERY :

To understand usability issues and redesign opportunities, I conducted focused analysis.

Key activities:

• Existing website usability review
• Competitor analysis (airline platforms)
• Booking flow evaluation
• Mobile experience analysis

Key insights:

• Users prioritize quick flight search
• Cluttered layouts reduce usability
• Clear hierarchy improves booking speed
• Mobile experience is critical for travel users

🔹 UX STRATEGY :

Based on insights, I focused on:

  • Simplifying the booking journey

  • Improving first-fold clarity

  • Enhancing scanability

  • Creating consistent layout patterns

  • Optimizing for mobile-first usage

🔹 INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE :

The redesigned structure includes:

  • Hero + Flight Search

  • Offers & Promotions

  • Popular Destinations

  • Service Highlights

  • News & Updates

  • Footer Navigation

🔹 PRIMARY USER FLOW :

Landing → Search Flight → View Options → Explore Offers → Book Flight

Key design decisions:

  • Reduced friction in booking process

  • Clear input fields and hierarchy

  • Improved CTA visibility

  • Structured section flow

  • Mobile-first interaction design

🔹 WIREFRAMING :

Wireframes were created to restructure layout and validate booking flow improvements.

Focus areas:

  • Search flow clarity

  • Section spacing

  • Content grouping

  • Mobile usability

Challenge :

The primary challenge was redesigning an existing airline platform while addressing usability issues without disrupting the core booking experience. The interface needed to be simplified and restructured to support faster decision-making, especially during flight search and booking.

Another key difficulty was balancing business requirements with user needs. The design had to maintain brand identity while significantly improving layout clarity, responsiveness, and interaction flow. Ensuring consistency across multiple screens and optimizing the experience for mobile users were also critical considerations.

Summary :

The "Intenza Brand Boutique E-Gift Card Design" project successfully delivers a digital gift card that embodies both modern minimalism and the premium, active spirit of the brand. By combining a sleek black holder with a dynamic, fitness-inspired card image, the design stands out as both elegant and energetic.

This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can elevate a simple product into a powerful brand statement, enhancing the gifting experience for both giver and recipient.
